Fenton (1819-1885) served as Governor as well as Senator from New York. One of the founders of the Republican party, he was a strong advocate against slavery.

Forrest (fl. 1865) served as Inspector of State Prisons as well as Commissioner of deeds for the state of New York.

7. Willmann, Andreas. For Supervisor
Willmann (1819-1878) was born in Pforhen, Germany. An important participant in the 1848/49 revolution in Southwest Germany, he fled to the United States to escape a prison sentence for this. In New York he founded and became vice-director of the Citizen Sparbank, and also worked as a wine merchant. (Inventory #: 15918)
