8.5 by 11 inches, circa 1970s. This is an original Barry Windsor-Smith “Conan” illustration. Drawn in pencil on an artist sketchbook leaf. A lovely early rendition of Conan, the 1970s comic that Barry created and produced so successfully for Marvel Comics. This piece is accomplished in the desirable early 70s technique that Barry Windsor Smith used before moving on to other styles. Signed and inscribed at lower right corner, “To Harry, Barry Smith”. Exhibiting a tiny bit light adhesive bleed-through to top and bottom edge of recto from tape on the verso else in fine condition. (Inventory #: 15221J)
