Alken is known for illustrated works on British sport and social manners as 'Jorrock's Jaunts and Jollities': Panorama was the forerunner of Nimrod's 'The Life of a Sportsman'. With a new preface and commentary by C.F.G.R. Schwerdt. Oblong folio, stiff printed wrappers, limited edition #124/400 copies, signed by Schwerdt. 15 colored plates - for a total of 35 pictures - mounted on 5 leaves, with descriptive letterpress facing each page.
