Head of spines slightly frayed on two volumes only, several corners lightly worn. Rear cover of Volume 32shows areas of gridded darkening. In all, a lovely, mellowed set bound by a renowned binder. This set is EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with 31 plates. Bound with half-titles. Does not have errata slip in Volume 3. Point of issue in Volume 4, page 253, line 6 reads "Place and Whitehall".
