Except for the slight inevitable sunning/tanning to the wrappers, a clean 1 3/4" tear in the fore-edge of the front wrapper, and now, thanks to a careless book fair browser from the trade, a clean split at the crown of the spine and 4" down the upper joint, a very good, largely unopened copy of this fragile book which is often seen in pieces. First edition. One of ca. 500 copies printed. This copy is one of the larger variants, with the leaves untrimmed, measuring 23 x 14 cm., versus 21.5 x 13.5 cm. WALLACE A12.
