In "Riddle" five intaglio etchings are suspended in cut-out windows with printed hint below. "Ghost," printed from Cory's handwriting on ghostly silk tissue, remembers a grandmother's last days. Text of the Defensive Book is taken from a manual given to college freshman women. The book exemplifies fear and paranoia with increasingly smaller pages and ever more embedded pins.
