A broadside of "Lincoln, The Man of the People" boldly signed "Edwin Markham 1933" at the bottom. At the top, Markham penned: "To President Robert G. Sprout, in memory of a happy afternoon". There are four stanzas of the poem printed. The extreme upper left corner has been trimmed, but I suspect it came this way, for Markham wrote around it. There is a small chip is the right margin that affects nothing, and some very slight wrinkling to the lower right corner. It is in fine condition overall, and a great remembrance of Lincoln.
