Includes some color and b/w reproductions of photographs. Gorman was referred to as "the Picasso of American Art" by the New York Times. His work is primarily of Native American Women and characterized by fluid forms in rich vibrant colors. The artist also worked in sculpture, stone lithography, and ceramics. Text by Mary Beth Green. Foreword by Edward Jacobson. Minor age wear and scuffing on wraps, interior in near fine condition.
