Matisse, Henri. Poemes de Charles d' ORLEANS. Paris, Tériade, 1950. One of the 1200 (N.591) copies on vellum specially manufactured by the Arches paper mills, signed by Matisse. Manuscript in facsimile entirely composed by Henri Matisse, who wrote and illuminated the poems of Charles d'Orleans, with several lithographs in text and out text. The lithographs were executed under Matisse's direction at the Mourlot Press. Printing was completed on February 25th, 1950.
