Very good. The Workmen's Circle schools differed from other Jewish schools in their secular curriculum and emphasis on Yiddish rather than Hebrew.

Blum was a Socialist politician who served three terms as Prime Minister. In 1942, he was tried at Riom by the Vichy government in an attempt to prove that he and other Third Republic leaders had been responsible for Germany's defeat of France in 1940.
