Simpson was a Revolutionary War veteran who was disharged due to injuries sustained in the service of the new nation in late 1776. This petition details his appeal for retroactive full pension (as opposed to the half-pension he was receiving) from 1786-1806. It was submitted by W. Eustis on his behalf. Shaw & Shoemaker #24309.
