Contemporary calf, blind rules to boards, blind fillets along joints, raised bands to spine. A few minor nicks and scratches to boards and spine, moderate rubbing to extremities, corners bumped and somewhat worn, small chip to head of spine, some wear to foot, corners bumped, hinges starting, a few partial cracks to text block. Moderate toning to text, faint dampstaining in a few places, early annotations to rear endleaf. $450. * This annotated compilation offers unique insights into the mechanisms of taxation, the state of local industry and trade and contemporary assumptions about social utility and discretionary spending. The acts are printed in the center of the pages. Side-notes in the left margin contain amendments, case citations and interpretive comments, those in the right margin are summaries that, taken together form a quasi-abridgment of the law.
