by Peace and Freedom Party
[California]: Peace and Freedom, 1973. Five somewhat amateurishly produced posters, silkscreened on slightly unevenly cut sheets of paper, average size about 10x15.5 inches. These feature the statewide slate of the party, which at the time was the only socialist feminist party on the official ballot in California. All have a horizontal crease, otherwise very good. Robert Donovan, the candidate for Attorney General, calls for the release of all political prisoners. Marilyn Seals was the first he first openly lesbian candidate to run for Governor a few years later. (Inventory #: 218481)
