Small chip to spine head. 20th- century bookplate and small ownership stamp, 19th-century ink inscription to front endpapers, bookplate removed from rear endpapers, text slightly toned, but in otherwise clean and in very good condition. A scarce biography of Littleton Waller Tazewell, who served variously as Congressman, Senator, and Governor of Virginia from 1800 to 1836.
