[Amsterdam, 1980]. Original photo-montaged poster, offset printed in red and black on white stock, measuring 47.5x32cm. Trivial handling, very Near Fine / A. Protest poster issued by the Dutch squatter's movement ("Kraak" also meaning "squat") shortly before the coronation of Queen Beatrix on April 30, 1980. The image shows a massive crowbar, symbol of the movement, looming over the Royal Palace in Amsterdam, a critique of the country's housing shortage juxtaposed with the Royal family's luxurious homes throughout the Netherlands.
