Moderate wear to binding, with small open tear to top corner of upper wrap,creasing, spots of soiling, and scattered rubbing. Binding is sound. Occasional spots of soiling to pages and toning due to laid in insect wing. A quite attractive copy of this 1889 manual used by actual rail workers as evidenced by handwritten note to first page: "Please familiarize yourself with pages 3 & 4," with manicule and underlines to same page.
