Minor wear to lower right corner; slightly browned; several small pinholes to blank areas; light impression of former mat to extreme edges. This drawing is possibly a depiction of the Russian conductor Serge Koussevitzky (1874-1951) however this attribution is debatable.
Abel Jules Faivre was a painter, illustrator, and cartoonist active in Paris in the early 20th century. He is particularly well-known for the posters he designed during World War I as well as for his portraits and caricatures. (Inventory #: 29815)
