A quarto of 12 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches with library markings on the spine, with the cloth at the head and heel of the spine worn down to the edges of the text block and the cloth over the tips of the boards worn through. Library markings include a book plate on the front paste down, a classification number on the verso of the first free end page, a stamp on the recto of the frontispiece page, an embossed stamp and rubber stamp on the title page and notations at the (truncated) upper edge of the limitation page and a date stamp and library pocket on the rear end sheets.
