An later printing of Loyola's work accompanied by unusual plates illustrating the stages (emotions?) of the exercises. The illustrator is Samuel Dworzak (the first plate is signed in full) an engraver who worked in Prague through the late 17th century. Each plate has a page number that bears no relation to the text. Yet each plate is signed and part of the collation.Thieme/Becker cite the work's antecedent in 1673 without details. Dworzak died in 1689. See Thieme/Becker volume 10, page 261. (Inventory #: 17024)
