Jones closes the little booklet by quoting advice he got from an elderly African American woman when he first came South: "Bud, you is from up Norf, dowh here you is among de 'secesses -- you is got your paw in de lion's mouth, don'y you go rarijn' and pitchin' to get it out, you just ease it out the best way you kin.
