Single fold circular. 31 by 24 cm. 4 pp. Promoting shoes with internal heels meant to increase the appearance of height of the wearer. Cover with illustrations of bearded man and resulting height increases via various footwear, and of a foot in a boot, a shoe, etc. Speaks of many medical advantages of such footwear, including the prevention of nervous affection, prostration, neuralgia, headache, paralysis, epilepsy, locomotor-ataxia, Chorea, St. Vitus Dance, etc. etc., and so in keeping with quack medical promotions of the day. Asserts the invisible elevators avoid detection, discomfort or injury. With testimonials and a price list. Scarce -- no copies found on OCLC First Search or elsewhere. Condition: later neat folds now flattened. Short but neat handwritten note. Light wear.
