First German edition, Augsburg, 1731. This work elaborates on the basics of horticulture, planting a garden, selecting, planting and caring for the various plants, as well as the use of water features and fountains. The copper engraved plates present numerous illustrations of these topics -- layouts of various gardens and parks with flower beds, trellises, pools. stairs and terraces.
