New York: Cassell and Company, 1883. Poor. Text block is VG+, but covers are off, front endpapers chipped and loose. Brown cloth covers and spine with bevelled edges, all edges gilt. [50] pages 20 plates (original etchings). Five-page Introduction by Koehler. Each plate is accompanied bya sheet with descriptive letterpress and a tissue guard. Etchings are in VG+ condition, with no foxing and not faults. Could be restored for appx. $300 - $400. The condition of the pages and etchings is exceptional.
