Hardcover in paper-covered boards, the front board of which has a striking graphic design of a man’s forefinger pressing a dial in the center with lime green decorative lines radiating outward. In good condition with some rust stains to the endpapers from interior staples, some foxing to the first few and last few pages, and some dust soiling mainly at the rear and spine with a bit of minor chipping to the top and bottom of the spine. Better than it sounds, inner pages are clean. A collection of 7 stories; The Death Ray Dictator (set in 1960), Mr. Smith Seeks Adventure, Shaken Identities, Concerning Mummies, The Welsh Poet, The Busk of Emmanuel, and Counterfeit. William Richard Titterton (1876–1963) was a British journalist, writer and poet now remembered as a friend and first biographer of G.K. Chesterton. (Inventory #: 22108E)
