Original photo-illustrated dustjacket, red and black lettering on spine, over tan leatherette with burgundy lettering on spine. Burgundy endpapers. Full page on postcard stock with three photographs to be cut out as postcards at rear. Illustrated with eighty-two full page b/w photographs of Paris taken from 1989 to 1992, depicting various famous cityscapes as well as anonymous street life. The photographs are manipulated in a way that is reminiscent of looking through a shattered lens, producing a kaleidoscopic effect while creating the illusion that the motifs, respectively photographs are older than they are. His work have been shown and published widely in Japan and can be found in various collections in France and Mexico. Publisher's stickers laid in, and original price tag tipped to back free endpaper and folded over the top of the page. Text in Japanese, captions in French. Dustjacket with light creasing along top edge. Minor smudging to front free endpaper. Block with slight yellowing along edges not affecting images. DJ in overall good+, interior in very good+ condition.
