New York: Greeley and McElrath. Very Good+. 1855. Fine Binding. A nice bound volume, sammelband, (fine binding of leather and marbled boards) of Whig Almanacs 1843 - 1855 (Lacks 1851) in excellent condition - although only the 1843 retains the original pictorial cover, complete otherwise. The almanacs include several interesting maps in the text including the 1846 almanac with full page woodcuts of both Oregon and Texas / Indian Territory. Minimal ex-library with an early association label to the front pastedown and marks to the rear pastedown. The contents themselves are not marked and though showing occasional foxing are generally quite fresh. The volume was professionally rebacked in fine leather with gilt printed red and green leather spine labels. .
