A stage play in three acts, "Tea and Sympathy" premiered on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on September 30, 1953, in a production directed by Elia Kazan. The play starred Doborah Kerr, Leif Erickson and John Kerr. The successful play was adapted into a major film in 1956, starring Deborah Kerr and John Kerr, reprising their performances from the New York production. 8vo., pictorial beige cloth in dust jacket; 182 pages.
