The publication is an issue of the of the promotional supplement to the German weekly, Illustrierter Film-Kurier, promoting the German release of the 1928 Warner Bros production, "The Singing Fool", starring Al Jolson. The booklet is profusely illustrated throughout (including the front and back covers) with b/w photogravure images and photomontage, depicting scenes and characters from the film. The musical film, which was Jolson's follow-up to his immensely successful and groundbreaking "The Jazz Singer", was also a huge hit, breaking box-office records and solidifying him as among the greatest entertainers of the era. Text in German throughout.

Wrappers with some rubbing and creasing along the spine. Light creasing to the back cover and to some corners. A small stain on the front cover. Interior with minor age toning along the edges of pages. Wrappers in very good-, interior in very good+ condition overall. Protected by modern mylar.
