Cincinnati: Peter G. Thomson, 1883. Wraps. Very good plus. Thin folio (9 by 11 inches). 10 leaves, including the wrappers. Illustrated through in full color of two shade chromolithograph. The leaves appear to have been guarded at an early date, with a new spine and a lower corner repair with the same card used for the spine. Ownership name on the front cove margin. One page lacks marginal corner else this is in very good condition with light wear,
Racist story in rhyme about a kindly settler who feeds two Native Americans who then attempt to steal more food from him.
