NY: Farrar & Rinehart Inc., 1931. First Edition, with publisher's colophon on the copyright page. Signed presentation from Wright on the front endpaper: "26 April 1931. To Marguerite, Sincerely Mason Wright." A sophisticated copy. This endpaper had been tipped in from another first edition copy that was in terrible condition but with this nice presentation on its front endpaper. Wright's signature is scarce and I could not bear tossing the signature with the book! Wright's other mystery is "Murder On Polopel" (1929). Small 8vo., mustard-yellow cloth, stamped in red; 299 pages. Very Good (bit of soil covers with little fading & light crease spine, upper corner bumped; contents clean & tight).
