Bardstown, KY: Ben Ellis & Son, Printers, 1858. Printed broadside, 14 1/2 x 10 3/8 inches, employing several styles and sizes of type, the whole text enclosed within an ornamental border, five sections of text divided bold double-rules. Ellis printed the Bardstown newspaper "The Republican" from 1844, but we have not found separately published items from his press. Apparently not recorded on OCLC. Not in Hummel. Some foxing, but a very good example of a Kentucky stud broadside issued shortly after the Civil War, apparently unrecorded. Old fold lines. (11133). (Inventory #: 63714)
