Rare, especially in this condition (one of the nicest copies we've seen). "This classic work is the most used and quoted history of any ever issued on the state. It is likely to remain forever the all-time Nevada book, for nothing issued since compares to its exhaustive coverage. Chapter subjects (55 in number) include geography, early emigration and settlement, origin of government in western Nevada, discovery of silver and mining development, organization of the territory and state, Nevada boundaries, A the historical and biographical material, a wealth of lithographic plates depict all sorts of mining, agricultural, and domestic scenes throughout the state.
