The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher is a children's book by Beatrix Potter about a frog who endeavors to fish for minnows, so he can host a dinner party for his friends. Though he goes to his usual spot, Jeremy encounters a host of obstacles, including a rat hiding nearby, a stickleback fish who pricks his fingers, and a trout who nearly eats him.
