The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher is a children's book by Beatrix Potter about a frog who endeavors to fish for minnows, so he can host a dinner party for his friends. Though he goes to his usual spot, Jeremy encounters a host of obstacles, including a rat hiding nearby, a stickleback fish who pricks his fingers, and a trout who nearly eats him. Notably, the book features Potter's detailed and charming botanical illustrations, which were inspired by those of the noted naturalist illustrator Randolph Caldecott.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Dust Jacket Included. (Inventory #: BP032)
