Reports from the various city operating departments, with historical material added in the appendix, in this case the 1775 111-page diary of Capt. Barnard Elliott, an officer under William Moultrie in the 2nd S.C. Regiment, commanding Fort Johnson in Charleston Harbor in 1777. Very good. Original gilt-stamped decorated cloth (rubbed, flecked).
