New York: Saxon and Miles, 1832. 8vo, pp. 180; cloth-backed paper covered boards; upper cover loose, spine mostly perished, some foxing; pencil notes along margins of Chaldee text, good. Riggs was a New Jersey minister and linguist of Eastern European and biblical languages. His work contributed to the Bulgarian National Revival, and he was given the task of delineating the line between Turks and Greeks within the Ottoman empire.
