Mayakovsky, by Stefan Schutz; translated by Tom Kempinski [program & theatre newsletter; two pieces]
by Schutz, Stefan
London: Half Moon Theatre, 1979. Program with keyboard-set text and two illustrations, presswork on a long folio leaf, 8x17.5 inches, folded to make a six-panel brochure measuring 8x5.7 inches; bears a droplet stain and is somewhat dust-soiled and crimped. Laid into this program is a "Half Moon News" newsletter on a huge folio leaf (24x17) printed in red and black (brilliant design by Lonz Townshend) describing this and other current productions, and the theatre's mission statement. Newsletter is machine-folded twice, then mis-folded a third time to fit into the program described above; it is dust- and handling-soiled with a coffee splash stain. The two related items as a pair.
