Grueber, W. Jones, R. Weite, J. Rice, and R. M'Allister, 1791. Second Edition. Part 1 (all published). Octavo; viii, 366 p. [A]5 B-2A8. Leaf 2A8 [blank] removed. Lacks fold-out chart of Constitution. Contemporary mottled calf with red spine label with gilt lettering.

Written as a response to Burke's Reflections on the Revolution in France (1790), the Letters were designed to contrast Burke's characterization of the violence of the revolution.

Rubbed at hinges and along edges. Corners rubbed with brief exposure. Shallow loss at spine crown. Binding is sound. Some soiling and staining to interior, but text is legible throughout.
