The author and his friend, "Lord R(odney)", take a cruise in the R.Y.S. cutter "Iris." They engage in more socializing and sightseeing than yachting, but this account is early and scarce. "Iris sailed from Greenwich to Christiansand, Elsinore, Copenhagen, Falkenborg, Gotteborg, Christiana, Fredrecksvaern, Larvig, Boom, Gron Fjord, Bergen, Scarborough, Yarmouth Roads, and back to Greenwich." Toy 937. Whew! This is the second edition of a book first published the year before. Bound in blindstamped and gilt red cloth, all edges gilt. Recto of frontispiece is stained, covers are lightly (truncated)
