A solid, very well-preserved copy. Tight and VG+ to Near Fine in its dark-green cloth, with bright gilt-titling and decorative blindstamping along the panels. Very light age-spotting to a number of the pages, very mild dusting to the rear endpaper and pastedown. Wonderful pasted-on frontispiece of a spectral, serpent-like creature descending from the skies. Thin octavo, several engraved illustrations within "Eugene and the Ostrich (Inventory #: 17721)
