Title gilt stamped on front board and backstrip. All edges gilt. Rebacked, with a portion of the original spine overlaid. Leather professionally preserved with archival cellugel (making leather less dry). There are a couple of contemporary gift inscriptions on the preliminary pages. Frontispieces Heber C. Kimball and his wife Vilate are present. The Joseph and Hyrum Smith portraits are also present at the center. Biography of the Mormon leader by his grandson. Flake/Draper 9772.
