Wood-engraved title vignette, 31 plates and plans after Augustus Pugin and others (20 present in two states, giving a plate total of 51), comprising aquatints, five with full or partial hand-coloring, line etchings, some on india paper mounted, and some mounted, and two folding, the frontis plate itself opening up to be over 100 cm wide. Attractively bound in half black straight-grained morocco over contemporary marbled paper-covered boards. Spine with seven raised bands forming eight 8 compartments, all decoratively tooled with floral devices in gilt. Condition: occasional spotting, some light marginal age toning.
