Very good. 12mo (6" x 5"); [12pp]; gilt-stamped decorative borders and title on red pebbled paper over board; 12 accordion-folded glazed panels, grey-tone chromolithograph illustrations within a red & yellow border; portrait on front pastedown; significant fading to spine and a 2" strip of rear board, board has turned white; else very good. In 4 WorldCat libraries. Front pastedown panel features a portrait of Lieut. Zebulon M. Pike who discovered pikes Peak in 1806. Views of the M. & P.P. Railway Depot, trains an scenes from the rail including Rocky Pass, Lion Gulch, Mt. Baldy, Minnehaha Falls, lodges, animals, views from the Timber Line, the Signal Station on Pike's Peak, "The Baby's Grave", Garden of the Gods and Manitou.
