Good. 16mo square (5 7/8" x 5"); accordion fold [24pp]; gilt-stamped red pebbled paper over board, elaborate gilt border surrounding title including two griffins and an urn, blind stamped rear board; black cloth spine; 12 glazed accordion folded panels printed grey chromolithograph illustrations one side only; bumping to corners, scuffing to boards, cloth on spine separated at front board head and tail but binding holding tight, light soiling and creasing to pages, light foxing to rear pastedown and verso last page, a few folds with small separations at head or tail; good. Half-page width triptych of the town of St. John from Fort Howe, illustrations including important buildings, churches, private residences, bridges, harbor view, parks and street scenes around St. John.
