Chicago: Seed Publishing, 1968. Newspaper. [24p. including covers], folded tabloid newspaper, 11.5x15.5 inches, illustrations throughout. Spine is worn at the fold. Cover has rainbow-colored split-fount poster of Art Nouveau woman surrounded by photo collage of inner city Black kids. Centerspread is showcase for "Some haiku, of Denmark in September" by some uncredited poet. Rest of issue is a potpourri of news, updates, gossip, drug trivia, plus various music reviews and countercultural nostrums. Very 1968. The Seed was best known for its striking graphics.
