New York: Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc, 1934. Hardcover. Fine. 12 volumes, including a Reference volume (volume 1) and a Study Guide (volume 12). Small quartos (each volume 7¾" x 10"). Heavily illustrated in color and black and white. Publisher's blue cloth, stamped in silver. Very near fine with mild wear at the corners, neat date inked in volume 1, and volume 7 partially topstained a vivid blue, most likely a binding error. Housed in the publisher's decorative papercovered wooden box (11½" x 11½" x 8½") with some superficial wear, sound and square, very good or better. Prepared under the supervision of the editors of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. (truncated)
