Sheet very slightly worn and browned. A German hymnodist, superintendent of the Evangelical college in Augsburg, "Wegelin's hymns are simple and natural, and are the productions of an earnest, true-hearted and good pastor rather than of a skillful poet." Julian, p. 1246. (Inventory #: 33480)
