Near fine in redish cloth covered boards with a gilt on black title block on the spine with map fixed end papers and with a prior owner's name on the first free end page. In only a good, price clipped dust jacket with numerous large chips from the spine area and a large 1 1/2" by 3" chip from the front panel. 657 pages including an index, text and illustrated with one two page topographic map with annotations by the author. Following the writing of Arundel, Roberts compiled the journals of the members of Arnold's expedition to Quebec. This volume formed the basis of that research.
