This book instructs children how to decide which breed to choose, how to train the dog, and relates stories about various dogs. Simply great. 11'' x 8''. Original quarter parchment, white printed boards. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Illustrated by Aldin with 7 full-page illustrations, 70 large partial page illustrations, and 2 color plates. viii, 117, [1] pages. Signed by Aldin, with original bull terrier drawing with red highlights, on limitation page. Slight bit of cover soil and toning to edges.
