A companion to CECIL ALDIN'S HAPPY FAMILY, this is Aldin at his very best. 9.25'' x 8''. Original quarter cloth, paper boards with pictorial paste-on, rebacked with original spine laid down. Top edge gilt, endpapers renewed. Illustrated by Aldin with 36 tipped-in color plates, six of which are double page, and 36 full-page black-and-white images. Preliminary and final few leaves foxed, with a bit of foxing along fore-edge.
