Signed presentation from Orcutt on the front endpaper: "To Clarice Loreng [?] as a little souvenir of a pleasant afternoon, with the best wishes of the author, William Dana Orcutt. 23 January 1928." William Dana Orcutt [1870-1953] was an American book designer, typeface designer, historian, and author. Along with other important designers and printers, Orcutt helped found the Boston Society of Printers in 1905. Orcutt was elected its first president, an organization inspired by the principles of the Arts and Crafts Movement. 12mo., decorative tan boards, stamped in gilt, red & black; 54 pages.
